Adapting to Change peer support group

Hybrid in-person and online

The Adapting to Change peer support group offers a warm, welcoming environment where we learn from each other’s experiences with the many transitions that life with MD brings. It’s a place to share insights, offer encouragement, and support one another as we navigate what’s ahead.

How it works:

Each topic is explored in two parts:

  • Part One: A 90-minute hybrid discussion focused on a specific theme. Join us in person at our Coventry HQ or online via Zoom to share stories, exchange ideas, and discover practical strategies. After the session, you’ll have time to reflect and consider any questions you’d like to explore further.
  • Part Two: About a month later, we host an online-only Q&A session on the same theme. This is your chance to dive deeper into any questions or reflections that have emerged since the first discussion. You’re welcome to attend either session – or both.

Our lead physiotherapists, Lynn and Ulrike, will be available to offer insights and answer questions if needed. However, the heart of this group is peer support – learning from each other rather than formal advice.

Upcoming sessions

  • Navigating emotions with change – 11 February 2026, with the follow-up session on 11 March
  • Understanding shifts in relationships – 13 May 2026, with the follow-up session on 10 June 2026

After each in-person session, you are invited to join us for pizza at Benugo’s, Warwick Arts Centre. A Changing Places toilet is available on site.
