Physiotherapist

Service User Participation Worker
Do you believe people with lived experience should shape the services they use, not just be consulted at the end?
Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre is looking for a Service User Participation Worker to put service-user voice at the heart of everything we do.
This role is about real participation, not tick boxes. You’ll build community connections, run inclusive activities, support peer networks, and capture lived-experience insight that directly influences our services, communications and strategy.

You’ll work closely with our communications, therapy and leadership teams to ensure the voices of people affected by muscle-wasting conditions genuinely shape what we do, and how we talk about it.
Clinical Administrator
- Location: Coventry – MD Support Centre, Westwood Business Park
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: £25,500 per annum
The Role
We are recruiting a Clinical Administrator to play a central role in the coordination and administration of our therapy and clinical services. This is a highly organised, detail-focused role supporting therapists, service users and satellite clinics to ensure services are well planned, well attended and well recorded.
You will manage therapy schedules, support referrals and service-user administration, and ensure accurate data and systems underpin service delivery. This role is critical to keeping our clinical services running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining three-month advance therapy schedules
- Coordinating therapists’ diaries and appointment schedules
- Administering online therapy classes and satellite clinics
- Managing referrals, service-user records and correspondence
- Liaising with service users, therapists, GPs and consultants
- Ensuring patient administration systems and electronic diaries are accurate and aligned
- Inputting and analysing administrative data to support management decision-making
- Supporting therapists and administrative colleagues with day-to-day operational tasks
About You
You will be highly organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy administrative role involving confidential clinical information. You will have strong communication skills, be confident using IT systems and databases, and take pride in maintaining accurate records and well-run processes.
Experience in healthcare, charity or disability-related settings is desirable but not essential.
