Adapting to Change: staying active in the face of new challenges

Hybrid in-person and online

Be part of our Adapting to Change peer support group for an engaging 90-minute session on Staying Active in the Face of New Challenges. Led by people with lived experience of muscular dystrophy, this group offers a supportive space to share experiences, reflect, and explore practical ways to stay active even as mobility or health changes.

Therapists will be on hand to provide guidance, answer questions, and support the discussion, but the focus is on learning from one another and offering peer support. After the session, anyone attending in person is invited to stay for pizza at Benugo’s, Warwick Arts Centre. A Changing Places toilet is available on site.

A follow-up online session will take place at a later date, which gives you the chance to reflect on the discussion and bring any questions or ideas to explore in more depth. You can attend either one or both sessions depending on what works best for you.

This session is free and open to anyone living with a long-term progressive condition. You can join in person at our Coventry HQ or online via Zoom, whichever suits you best.
