In light of the legislative changes coming in from 19th July in relation to COVID-19 preventative measures, we would like to ensure that our service users and supporters know what they can expect when visiting our clinics.
Things that won’t be changing:
We take our obligation to protect our service users, staff and visitors very seriously. As such we believe that the wearing of masks and the practicing of social distancing remain important safety measures at this time. Our team will continue to wear masks (and other Personal Protective Equipment where appropriate) and we will expect all service users and visitors to wear masks too, unless medically exempt from doing so. We will continue to telephone service users in advance of each appointment to check for any COVID symptoms, and we will continue to check the temperature of all visitors entering our locations.
And some things that will:
We will now be able to accommodate a limited number of service users in our waiting area. If you arrive early for your appointment, please do still call us on 02476 100 770 to let us know you’ve arrived. If there is space in our waiting area, we will invite you in. If not, we will call you back when you can come in.
Many of our team have been working from home but will begin to return to the office now so you may see more people in-centre than you have been used to seeing. All of our staff are fully vaccinated and regular lateral flow testing is in place to ensure your safety.
We will also now be able to bring more equipment (such as the massage chair and thera-cycles) back into use to support your therapy.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us on 02476 100 770 or getintouch@mdsupportcentre.org and we will be happy to help.
