MD Support Centre is pleased to announce that we are trialling an additional clinic location in Birmingham, which will potentially expand the services we offer in the city.
Launching on Monday 2 September, the pilot scheme will be based at the Centre for Movement and Wellbeing (MoveWell Centre), located at the University of Birmingham. During the trial period, planned for three months initially, service users can attend fortnightly physiotherapy sessions with Dan Foley.
A small number of service users have been invited to attend the initial clinics in September. After that, appointments will be available to any of our Birmingham-based service users who would like to see the space and help with the testing phase. Your valuable input will enable us to gauge demand for the additional location, and ensure that the space meets the needs of our service user community.
If successful, the pilot could lead to the MoveWell Centre becoming a permanent part of our satellite clinic network. This addition will complement the existing satellite clinic location at Bournville Gardens, offering service users greater choice and increased access to therapy.
Sarah Ann Moore, Chief Executive of MD Support Centre, said: “We’re testing the location to give people in Birmingham, and beyond, greater access to our specialist therapy. This brand-new facility offers us some fantastic new therapy spaces to explore, as well as potential opportunities to work more closely with the University for training and research in future.”
The MoveWell Centre is located at 52 Pritchatts Road, Edgbaston, B15 2TT. Disabled parking is available and there are nearby public transport links. For more information, including a video showing how to find the site, visit the MoveWell Centre’s location page.
