Muscular Dystrophy Support Centre provides specialist therapies, exercise programmes, wellbeing support, and peer support services for adults living with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions.

We work alongside NHS services and healthcare professionals to provide ongoing support that helps individuals maintain mobility, manage symptoms, improve wellbeing, and remain independent for as long as possible.

Referrals can be made by:

• A GP
• A Consultant
• A Specialist Neuromuscular Physiotherapist
• A Neuromuscular Care Advisor

GPs and Consultants can send us a referral letter confirming the diagnosis and referring the person to us for support. Please include their telephone number so we can contact them.

Specialist Neuromuscular Physiotherapists and Neuromuscular Care Advisors can complete our referral form and email it to reception@mdsupportcentre.org. 

Please contact us to let us know you have requested a referral. Once we have received it, we will arrange an appointment for your initial assessment.
