MD Support Centre to bid farewell and thank you to CEO

Chief Executive Sarah Ann Moore will be departing MD Support Centre at the end of June.  Sarah has been an important part of the charity and team for the past 5 years. Her appointment in 2020 was the first step in MD Support Centre’s five-year Transforming Access to Therapies strategy and project, and she has supported development and led on the delivery of the project since then. Her work has helped the organisation grow tremendously over the last five years, and MD Support Centre is thankful for her substantial contribution and commitment.

All of us at MD Support Centre will miss Sarah and wish her all the very best for the future. The charity’s summer get-together on Saturday 28 June will be an opportunity to say thanks and farewell to Sarah so sign up and join our community for an afternoon of fun, connection and thanks.

The recruitment process for the role is now underway, and the MD Support Centre team remain focused on delivering the specialised therapies and support that help you maintain independence and quality of life. Input from service users and stakeholders continues to be vital in shaping the development of the Centre.  Alongside ongoing service provision, a key priority for the MD Support Centre team in 2025 will be internal consolidation following the rapid growth experienced over the past five years. This will allow the charity to strengthen its foundations, enhance sustainability, and prepare for the next stage of the journey.

Looking ahead, MD Support Centre is excited to work with service users and other stakeholders to develop the next five-year strategy and build a shared vision for the future.
