A Brummie born and raised, Jamie began his career working for Members of Parliament while still a student at Keele University. From there his career has involved running communications and operations for MPs, manging political campaigns for the Labour Paty, running a foodbank during Covid and serving on the Council. Additionally, he serves as a Governor of the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and Board Member at Birmingham Royal Ballet.

In his personal life, Jamie is engaged to his partner, Nathan. He enjoys watching cricket, ballet and always finds time for a good pub visit.
